Ben Eyles is a local Jindabyne resident. He is multidisciplinary artist who works in sculpture, public murals, painting and more. Ben has won awards for his sculptural work and many of his murals can be seen around the town of Jindabyne.

Ben is the Artistic Director of Lake Light Sculpture, a position he has held for a number of years. Ben is also a Secondary Teacher at Jindabyne Central School, where he teaches Art, Design and Photography among other things.

While his mural work is varied in style and content his sculptural work has been focused on his environmental concerns. Ben creates sculptures that discuss and bring attention to the fragility of nature, often focusing on endangered animals.

In the day light his works take on a empheral almost shattered glass like effect, while at night they come alive with light to offer a new way to experience his work. Perfect for the Lake Light Sculpture event.
